The District is preparing to construct an additional ground storage tank at the existing water treatment plant site on South Mason Road. The tank is being constructed in order to help support the District’s water system during times of peak demand such as this past summer’s record temperatures and drought when irrigation usage is at its highest of the year. The proposed tank will be located next to the existing tanks and the fence will be extended out further on the District’s property. Construction is anticipated to begin in March of 2024 with completion anticipated by the end of 2024.
